Pitmasternash reporting about the Music City BBQ Festival

We got the festival early that Saturday and the weather was perfect for a BBQ competition. There were thousand of people who showed up. I look around to get a fill of the place, and from where I stood everything was put together perfect. You could smell the aroma in the air from all the different styles of BBQ being cooked. The bands were playing music and the beer was cold. It could not have been a more perfect day. The Music City Festival will have a great future in Nashville TN. And I hope next year it will be even bigger and better.

PitmasterNash Explains

When developing a BBQ Team you will want surround yourself with people that have the same passion and goals you have. Understand, that some people are not ready for the next level. Those ones you can not drag with you. You must leave them behind! You need people who know their positions and do them well. A BBQ team is like a race car pit crew, everyone does there one job to perfection. The team that PitmasterNash put together was a team that had just one member who wanted to do his own thing. This caused lots of confusion for the team members and organizers. As the team captain I would like to let my supporters know that this individual has removed himself from the PitmasterNash BBQ Team. And this person was replaced with a more competent and qualified person.

At the PitmasterNash BBQ Forum, it is our goal to be honest on our forum. By letting our supporters know about not only the GOOD but also the BAD and the UGLY.

PitmasterNash Barbecue Team Will Not Attend

We are sorry to inform that the PitmasterNash BBQ team will not be entering the Music City BBQ Festival this year. Do to some unforeseen occurrences in our scheduling that we have to honor. We will attend the festival but not as competitors. We will document and take plenty of photos of the competition and post them on the blog. The team will support this festival in the future because we fill this is a great opportunity for the city of Nashville. And to promote the art of being a pit master.

I will like to let everyone know that we will be entering the BBQ contest at Jelly stone National Park in Bowling Green Ky.
And also the October Fest In Galatin TN.

PitmasterNash Barbecue Team Intro Party

On August 8, 2009 the PitmaterNash BBQ Team will be introducing themselves to the community. We will like everyone to come join us at 3413 John Mallette Drive, Nashville TN. 37218. Here will be introduced to the team members and others. Some of our sponsor will be present also. We will also be sailing barbecue plates for 6 dollars to help support Nashville own team in the Music City BBQ Festival.

The Key to having a good BBQ teams is to have all your teammates on the same page. Everyone must work together to achieve the goal being reached.

The thing you do not want to happen is to allow everyone to go there own direction. That could be costly to the team. Everyone should be on the same page and going the same direction.

It has been a while since my last posting. We have been very busy with new and upcoming events. I would like to introduce our new BBQ team. We are call PitmasterNash BBQ Team.
We started this team about three month ago, so we are a new team. But we are a team consisting of seasoned veterans when it comes to BBQ.
