Creating A Dry Rub

Hello, I am Victor and welcome to the PitmasterNash Forum.
Today the subject is preparing a dry rub.
The important thing to remember is that a dry rub has five main ingredients.
Large grain salt
Black pepper
Garlic Powder
Onion Powder
Paprika
These are the building blocks to create the perfect dry rub for your barbecue needs.
A good dry rub is something that a pitmaster uses to create flavor and color.
You can add many ingredients to this dry rub.
Here is a list.
Chili Powder
Cumin
Five Spice
Cinnamon
Sugar brown or white
Any powdered pepper for heat.
The main thing to remember is to create your dry rub to your taste.
